Well, it's about time. I'm planning to post what I did in/for/related to my growing things - on this blog. I've always planned to keep a garden journal, so maybe this one will stick. We shall see.

Today I watered Figaro, my fig tree which Mom brought me as a start a number of years ago. Figaro produced many figs last summer, for a tree of his (her?) size. Figaro lives in the garage in the winter. This is the second time I've watered this winter. I'm paranoid I'll lose Figaro if I a) don't water enough in the winter or b) plant him. I will have to do b) this year I am fairly sure, as he now needs water (in the summer) every day... not enough soil left in the whiskey barrel
